Health Insurance, including dental and vision, is available for full-time and part-time employees, spouses, and dependents.
Life and Disability Insurance is provided for employees. Employees also have the option of purchasing additional coverage for themselves and spouses, and dependents.
Time-Off Benefits: Gives employees the flexibility to take time for vacations, illness or personal reasons as needed. In addition, the company provides 12 paid holidays.

Voluntary Life Insurance: Employees can apply for a voluntary life insurance policy, to insure the life of their spouse and/or children. There is 90 day waiting period; an employee is eligible on date of hire. Some plans are portable.
Long Term Disability (LTD) and Short Term Disability (STD) Insurance: Healthcare Consortium offers employees long term and short term disability insurance. Both STD and LTD insurance guarantees a percentage of your income. If you meet the disability requirements set forth by the insurance company due to a sickness or injury.

New Employee Orientation
All employees are introduced to the Healthcare Consortium of Illinois with a New Employee Orientation program. The interactive half day welcome session encompasses an overview of the agency, community, employment, policies and resources. back to top
Internships
Healthcare Consortium offers a variety of exciting internships for undergraduate and graduate students. Whether your interest is social services, public policy, advocacy, research, human resources, development, marketing, communications, accounting or information systems, you’ll be working with experienced staff. Most importantly, students will get hands-on experience in developing and implementing programs that impact families and communities throughout the Chicago area as well as the suburbs.

The Healthcare Consortium of Illinois seeks motivated, dedicated and talented individuals who are passionate about working in communities and assisting with outreach activities.
